The Past Avatar « Result #2 on Sept 24, 2009, 5:08pm »
Long ago. Long before Avatar Aang. Long before Avatar Roku. Before Avatar Kyoshi. Before Avatar Kuruk. And even before Avatar Yangchen; there was a another. A young firebender, born in the Fire Nation Capital. As the new Avatar was growing up, far off in the distant Earth Kingdom, A corrupt Earth King was planning an envasion against the Fire Nation. The King wanted nothing more than to rule the world and give true meaning the the title Earth King.
The Eastern Air Nomads became worrysome and sent word to the other Air Temples across the world. Their goal was to inform the rest of the world about a possible war between the Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation befor it was too late. The Nomads have known a war would come for years now. With their meditating they foresaw what the war would become and how it would eventually end.
It is time for the Avatar to be revealed. It is time to end the war before it begins. Will the Earth King go through with his plans? Will news about the war reach the Great Fire Sage in time? Will the Air Nomads reveal what is to truely happen with the Avatar and the Earth King?

MV1...
This is the name of the foe that has threatened the Digital World this time around. Before there were psychopath tamers, rampaging digimon, and powerful forces starting wars with the humans and digimon, but this is different. This time, it could mean destruction of not only a single human or digimon, or the human world or the digital world, it means obliteration of everything.
Yggdrasil has been deleted, and his power has been transferred to a handful of old digidestined. Now it's up to the old and the new to combine forces and defeat this foe, so that whatever balance used to be may be returned again to both worlds.
Hint hint, wink wink, new and old. That means that the new digidestined need to step up to the plate this time around and restore the balance along with the other old ones, such as myself. Are you up to it?

It had been fifty years since the end of the Great Catastrophe, an event most attempt to forget yet still remember for fear of living through it once more. Villages that at one time lie in ruins now commenced to prosper once more, the efforts of their previous generations ensuring the next one would grow up in a world of normality would be a success; sort of. Traces of the grand and unfortunate event could still be found if one dares to venture in the more forbidden areas of the world, where shadows of decades ago still retain ownership over the areas. Most of the major villages had been modernized, erasing the stained past with an improved future.
It took a good while, but the leaders of the past had rebuilt each of their respective village with time and patience. Now they stare down upon the fruits of their labor, each Kage of their village sporting wrinkles and scars that told of dark secrets from long ago. Weary eyes would gaze at the seeds they had planted, fresh genin out of the academy eager to aid in their village’s attempt at sovereignty. However, despite the inspiration gained from such a sight, no one would ever forget what happened…
It was as it is now, each and every village at one point enjoying from prosperous times. Conflicts and rivalries had been resisted for many years, and during the interim, many grew strong and wealthy. Now, the fate of the shinobi world and the owners of the battlefields would be determined by a larger pool of contestants, no longer the decision of conquest place on the shoulders of a few. Every village was ready and able, and every one would have their secret array of ‘hidden weaponry’; however, no one would possess a blade sharp enough to pierce the evils that came their way. It was thought to be a world war at first, sudden disasters such as random explosions, earthquakes, humongous sand storms and tsunamis overflowing over each and every village.
Naturally this would instill dissension and mistrust, each neighboring village blaming the other for the disastrous events. Conflict was imminent, and after it’d be proven the ‘attacks’ would not cease, everyone bellowed the call of war. However, the fighting would be cut short, lasting no more than a few weeks as they soon realized the events that ravaged the land were far too grand and dangerous to ignore. Soon a fight for freedom amongst brothers turned into a fight for one’s life against the angry hand of God, and each village was left to fend for themselves in the face of nature. Most would be nearly destroyed, leaving only a few to survive, pass on the tale and start a new tomorrow. It’d be only after they had lost it all that they’d realize it was not their neighbor’s fault for the conflict, but simply some sort of unknown act of Mother Nature herself. Perhaps she grew tired of the eternal rivers of deep crimson blood that were spilt upon her? Natural retribution – it was a scary thing.
Taking what little they had the villages would recover, agreeing amongst each other a lengthy cease of fire and reinforced peace so that life could be preserved. During fifty years, the leaders that were left would commence the slow and tiring process of rebuilding their homes. It’d come with time and patience, and fortunately for those that came ahead, their elders had plenty of it. Now, the results were all around – wealth, happiness, prosperity. Some would suffer so that others wouldn’t. It wasn’t very fair, but it was how balance was retained. Now, on the eve of a very great and vibrant time for the entire shinobi world, a large celebration will be triggered. Across the lands, a mass genin examination will be attempted, an event each village’s leader agreed would solidify peace and instill hope for the future generations. If one possessed skill, one would attempt. This was it.
Enter the shoes of a new generation of leaders. Throughout the land they exist, growing up and gaining discipline through experience. It’s up to you to determine whether your homeland ever returns to how it once was. And it is up to you to uncover the mystery that lead to such misfortune fifty years ago.
Naruto Eledia takes place roughly one hundred years after the events of the original manga, and the story of Naruto Uzumaki. In our world, Naruto had become the Sixth Hokage shortly after defeating the evil organization known as Akatsuki. In a climactic final battle against the most powerful of all Uchiha, Naruto defeated Madara and finally ended his reign of terror. This brought about a joyous rebound of the world, and subsequently brought many blessings to the people of the world. With the imminent war that Akatsuki had deviously manipulated out of the way, the human race was finally at peace. Naruto, leading the Fire Nation to great heights of power and prosperity, advocated peace and increased the well being of the entire shinobi world. However, with peace, of course came consequences. Special shinobi groups, especially the ANBU of many villages began to grow restless with the sudden drop of shinobi necessity. With an elongated state of peace, shinobi had little to do and no reason to be in existence.
Slowly, the levels of militarism declined and many villages’ entire economies crumbled. Over many years, Naruto was hailed as the greatest of all the Hokage, but was secretly hated by the other great nations. Not only did Naruto’s peace put most of the other nations in a state of poverty, due to the lack of jobs for their ninja, but he put all focus in the world on the Fire Nation, which lead to the other nations paling into obscurity. Over time, Naruto Uzumaki grew to old age, and passed away. With his death, the nine tailed fox escaped his seal and traveled back into the nether, with the other tailed beasts. More importantly, however, with the death of the Sixth, a new Hokage took over and began work on reinstating the ANBU, training an army of ninja in secret, to be prepared for the inevitable break out of war. The new Seventh Hokage didn’t believe in peace, and thought that human malice and ambition would certainly prevail. He couldn’t have been more correct.
In recent times, the INS, or International Ninja Squad, has been established as a peace making organization between all the countries. With the uprising of ghosts, basically chakra beasts, the INS is used to protect the nations from these threats and to mediate diplomatic relations between nations, with the ninjas that comprise the teams being liaisons to rival nations. The real ninja faces of the INS are constructed primarily of the most powerful ninja from their respective villages, and are seen as celebrities in the eyes of the ninja world. The rest of the INS is comprised of council members from each village, two men or women from each, who while not generally very powerful ninja are masterful diplomats that help to regulate the events of the Shinobi world. This is used as a method to keep peace between all the nations, and to keep any one nation from gaining too much power.
With the recent rebirth of the Uchiha clan, the hegemony of the Fire Nation has been established, with the Fire Nation being the center of the world’s economy. They currently house the INS headquarters somewhere in the northwestern Fire Country, and are the mediators of the Shinobi world. However, due to a long series of events, the Fire Nation has withdrawn from the INS and closed off all contact with the other nations, with furious resolve. It all started with the death of Konoha INS member, Hitomi Aimi on a mission that involved the extermination of a large Ghost encampment. She was killed in the line of duty, and it was quickly investigated by Konoha’s secret ANBU. Their findings revealed that only another member of the INS could have been there to murder her in cold blood.
The now Ninth Hokage was informed and became deeply concerned. He contacted the other nations immediately, and came to the conclusion that no one nation would confess to the crime. All pleaded their innocence and left the Hokage stumped. His hardened councilmen, who well remember the days of the Seventh and his son, who became the Eighth, were appalled by his pacifist methods. They pushed the Ninth for a war of some kind, and eventually he broke and called for an all out attack on nearby villages of the INS. The Fire Nation quickly seceded from the INS and withdrew their support from the other nations. Striking quickly and without warning, the highly trained ANBU of Konoha quickly undermined the power of the nations bordering them: Waterfall, Grass, Sound, and Rain, all quickly fell before their power.
Up in arms over the sudden military response, the Earth, Wind, and Lightning quickly band together and raised a militia in short order. Building a large defensive perimeter on the border of the now expanded Fire Nation, these Nations surrounded Fire and are making attempts to keep it contained. The Earth, Wind, and Lightning are currently fighting to protect the smaller nations from the martial law that has been placed on them by the Fire Nation, and to preserve the sanctity of the INS. They are currently on uneven ground with the Fire Nation, and many skirmishes have begun to break out over the past few months. Currently, however, the cold war between the nations is at a dead lock as the Fire Nation simply doesn’t have the numbers to fight all of the other nations at once, and the Shinobi Alliance created by the Earth, Wind, and Lightning Nations simply don’t have the widespread training necessary to fight Fire on their own grounds.
All of this chaos was only added on to by the mysterious disappearance of the Mist Village from the political scene. They withdrew from the INS shortly before the Fire Nation investigated Aimi’s death, and have fallen into obscurity since then. Little is known about the Mist’s current actions and only rumors can be spread about their whereabouts. Only a citizen of Mist could truly tell you about what is happening, because trade and other business has discontinued. They have totally re-closed themselves from the rest of the shinobi world. One popular rumor that has been spreading amongst all the nations is that a new incarnation of the Akatsuki has taken up residence somewhere in the Water Nation, and that it could be the source of the current dilemma with Mist. Though, this is just a story told by conspiracy theorists and those considered loony.
This age has hearkened the arrival of the Fifth Great Shinobi War, and has many people all over the world, worried about their well being once again. The ninja have once again found purpose, and many who have long lurked in the shadows have emerged with untold power, and fierce resolve, ready to fight and die in the role they were born to play. All shinobi longing for combat on the inside, have always fought to attain “peace”. Men and women shuffle through life, longing for a peaceful world, when they know that it can’t be done. Human beings were born to fight and die for their beliefs and ambitions, and that is what they will always do. The idea of peace is a fable created by those who would control you… that is the real meaning of shinobi.
