The seas to the dead north of the world as known as the Northern Island Sea, and surround the Northern Water Tribe. These waters, much like their southern counterparts, are filled with drifting and dangerous chunks of ice. The temperatures rarely hit the -10 Celcius mark, even in the summer. All sorts of animals roam these areas, some much more dangerous than others. The people of the Northern Water Tribe generally don't wander too far out in the sea, prefering to stay close to home. The people who live in this enviroment stray from this chilling world, so perhaps all those who wish to visit should take a second thought.
